Equalizer primarily makes use of DHL for airfreight from South Africa to Australia.

DHL offers the following airfreight options:

1. DHL Express
a) Weight: Lighter than 50kg.
b) Maximum dimensions: 120cm x 80cm x 80cm.
c) Lead time: 2 to 4 calendar days.
d) We are rated as one of their top clients and accordingly we get special rates on
all shipments.
e) Estimated costs: As this is an option for urgent packages, the charges are normally
higher.

2. DHL Global
a) Weight: Heavier than 50kg.
b) Options:
Priority : Lead time: 2 to 3 calendar days.
Connect : Lead time: 3 to 5 calendar days.
Economy : Lead time: 7 calendar days.
c) Estimated costs:
Priority : Most expensive option.
Connect : Almost 50% of priority.
Economy : Most cheapest option.

Please take note of the following:
• Calendar days – Start from when the parts leave our premises and are only
estimate and out of our control should anything go wrong on DHL’s side.
• Ensure that the urgency of the order has been clearly communicated with the
relevant Equalizer employee to ensure that the correct DHL option has been
chosen.
